Agilent E6651 PXI Plug-In Module

The Agilent E6651 PXI plug-in module is a processing unit designed for intermediate frequency and digital signal operations. The module supports synchronized communication between RF subsystems and baseband processors. It includes IF routing interfaces and dedicated trigger lines that support precise timing functions during complex measurement tasks. The plug-in module features dedicated connectors for channel specific IF paths that support structured routing in modular test platforms. The CH1-IF interface supports stable intermediate frequency transfer between paired RF conversion units. The module also includes a CH2-IF port that supports additional synchronized IF routing in multi-channel configurations. 

The E6651 module uses a SYSTEM CLK input that distributes a stable reference clock across synchronized subsystems. The SYSTEM CLK port supports controlled timing distribution during high speed acquisition or playback sequences. The AD CLK input provides a dedicated sampling clock path that supports timing integrity for integrated data conversion circuitry. The presence of external clock inputs allows to operate within precise timing constraints in demanding test scenarios. The E6651 PXI module includes TRIG IN and TRIG OUT lines that support deterministic event initiation. The TRIG IN port enables external control over acquisition or processing events. The unit incorporates an internal digital processing section that uses DSP devices and FPGA logic for high performance IF manipulation. The digital subsystem supports stable digital IF processing during wireless protocol evaluation tasks. The heatsink attached to the module supports controlled thermal dissipation during extended operation.

The PXI Plug-In Module includes an onboard RJ45 interface that mainly permits internal chassis communication. The connector comes with SYNC support timing alignment between cooperative modules in a unified PXI system. The Agilent E6651 maintains full operational performance from 0°C to 55°C. The module supports storage temperatures from −20°C to 70°C. It operates reliably in humidity levels from 5% to 95% relative humidity at 40°C. The module supports operation at altitudes up to 3000 m and uses a standard PXI edge connector that enables integration into compatible chassis. The rigid board layout supports stable electrical grounding. It meets EMC requirements under Group 1 Class A certification and comes with a printed circuit board layout.
